Rose is a vice president with Mark Krueger and Associates. He brings more than 20 years' experience in stakeholder relations, public policy, HIV, and Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) to the firm and has earned respect in both the public and private sectors for his achievements in reimbursement, coalition building, and public affairs. Prior to joining MK&A, Gary was president of Health Systems Consulting, specializing in programs to improve access to care for people living with HIV, HCV, and other life-threatening conditions. Earlier, he was a senior vice president at Hyde Park Communications and vice president at Nelson Public Relations, both boutique public affairs agencies. For these firms he worked on domestic and international access issues, public policy, and government affairs for clients including Baxter, Bristol-Myers Squibb, DuPont Merck, Janssen, Ortho Biotech, Roche and Pfizer. Earlier in his career, Gary served as the research and treatment coordinator for the AIDS Action Council in Washington, DC. While at AIDS Action, he helped form the National ADAP Working Group and founded both the Patients' Coalition for Responsible FDA Reform and the Fair Pricing Coalition. Gary's first commitments in Washington were as federal affairs director for the National Association for People with AIDS and as clinical affairs coordinator for the AIDS Policy Center for Children, Youth and Families. Gary received his law degree from the CUNY School of Law and his BA from Northeastern University.
