Prior to joining MK&A, Cathy spent 14 years with Gilda's Club Worldwide, a non-profit organization that provides free social and emotional support for men, women and children with cancer, along with their families and friends. As director of affiliate relations, she supported an international network of 30 affiliates with budgets totaling more than $25 million. Cathy has guided interested groups through the process of affiliation, including the formation of steering committees, research on geographic feasibility, and creation of business plans and budgets.

As a member of the staff leadership team, Cathy actively engaged in strategic decision-making and helped define the global vision of the organization. She was instrumental in evolving the organization from one free-standing entity to a North American network of franchised affiliates. In her work with Gilda’s Club, Cathy also organized and managed an annual conference that included separate learning tracks for over 200 participants and served as an affiliate trainer responsible for developing training session goals, presentations, group activities, take-home materials, and tools for evaluation.

Cathy holds a B.A. in English and a minor in business administration from the University of Delaware. She lives in Hoboken, New Jersey, and is a member of the Hoboken Historical Museum and serves as a volunteer for the city’s department of cultural affairs.
